WEBSITE DESIGN PROCESS

hi there & thanks for your inquiry! Below is a GENERAL project outline of my Web design Process:

  • Consult call to discuss your project!

  • Creative branding questionnaire is filled out.

  • I will provide an estimate and start date.

  • Design Contract is signed by both parties.

    • You must provide all necessary assets and copy—prior to the start of each project—to ensure on-time completion.

  • Once deposit is paid, I’ll begin working on the Squarespace template (through a trial site), organizing content, and a first pass at visual branding for the homepage.

    • Depending on the amount of content on your website, I may do a bit of wireframing before working on your template.

  • You will review and provide feedback. 

    • At this point, if I'm way off, we can discuss ending the contract. Design is subjective, after all, and I might not be the right person for you. (No hard feelings!)

  • I will go through one more pass and build out content pages. 

  • I will invite you onto Squarespace as an admin so you can begin learning the backend. 

  • At this point, you can:

    • Build out the rest of the pages with my support. 

    • OR have me build out the rest of the pages. 

  • Once the content is up, we'll go through a final pass:

    • Connecting Social Accounts

    • Connecting Newsletters

    • Domain Transfer

    • Setting up site page and site descriptions for SEO

    • Create custom video tutorials so you can update your site.

  • Again, this discount only applies to the first payment on a new Website or Commerce plan on either annual or monthly cycles. The discount doesn't apply to future renewals, reactivations, upgrades, or downgrades.
